CES London (Wimbledon)
About the Course
Students enrolled in the English Preparatory Programme at İstanbul Nişantaşı University’s Foreign Languages Department can choose to attend 6 or 12-week General English courses at CES London at discounted rates, improving their English through practical communication and speaking practice.
Centre of English Studies (CES), one of the UK’s leading language schools, is accredited by Eaquals, and its curriculum is aligned with the standards of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
About the School
The school offers modern classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, a student lounge and a garden. Students receive 30 hours of face-to-face tuition per week. All course materials are included in the programme, and students will have access to CES's online learning platform for three months after completing the course. CES also has a dedicated social activities team that organises a range of extracurricular activities.
CES London is located in Wimbledon, a prestigious area of southwest London, approximately 20 minutes from the city centre. You can view the school's location here and watch its promotional video here.
At the end of the programme, participants will receive an official certificate. All the materials required for the course are included. In addition, participants will have access to the school's online learning platform for three months following the completion of the course.

Accommodation
Accommodation is provided with host families who are regularly inspected by CES's Accommodation Department. Breakfast and dinner are provided by the host family.
Host families' homes are either within walking distance of the school or easily accessible by public transport. Individual needs and preferences, such as pets, alergies and dietary requirements, are taken into consideration when arranging accommodation.
Should any issues arise with the host family, the relevant department will take action to resolve the matter within 24 hours of receiving a request for assistance.
Fees
6-Week Programme: GBP 3,300
12-Week Programme: GBP 6,600
Included in the Fee: 30 hours of tuition per week, homestay accommodation (breakfast and dinner included), airport transfers, pre-course placement test, course materials, access to the CES online learning platform, certificate of attendance, 24-hour emergency support hotline.
Not Included in the Fee: flights, visa fees, travel health insurance, lunches, personal expenses.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations made up to 21 days before the arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of GBP 250.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the arrival date.
- No refunds will be issued if a student does not complete the programme.
- In the event of a visa refusal, CES will refund the remaining amount after deducting GBP 250 and any bank charges, provided that the student submits the official visa refusal document and refusal reference number.
- If the planned programme start date needs to be postponed due to visa-related issues, CES will rearrange the course and accommodation dates, subject to availability. No refund will be issued in such cases.
Payment
Once your online registration form has been approved, the payment details and invoice will be sent to the email address provided in the form. Your registration will be confirmed once the payment has been completed.
Important Notice
This course is optional and does not replace the English Preparatory Programme offered by our university. The Preparatory Programme is administered exclusively by the University, and the preparatory requirement can only be fulfilled by successfully passing the NUEPT (English Proficiency and Placement Test) or by submitting one of the external examination certificates recognised under our university's regulations. The certificate of attendance issued by CES does not grant exemption from the Preparatory Programme or the NUEPT English Proficiency Examination.
The course dates coincide with the third and fourth modules of the Spring Semester of the Preparatory Programme. According to our Preparatory Programme Regulations, students are required to attend at least 80% of their classes. As you will be unable to attend your classes at the University while studying in London, you will be deemed unsuccessful in the relevant module.
To be eligible to sit the NUEPT in July, you must resume attending your Preparatory Programme classes immediately after completing your course in London, without delay.
Our university does not act as an intermediary in the payment process. Students make their payments directly to CES. The course fee is entirely separate from any preparatory programme or tuition fees already paid. It cannot be deducted from preparatory programme fees and does not constitute an additional charge to the tuition fees announced by our university.
Participation in the English Language Course in London is entirely optional.
