Fatma İrem Arslan, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages at İstanbul Nişantaşı University participated in the 1st ELT Conference at Yeditepe University. The conference’s focal point was Building ELT Communities: Research and Dialogue in Practice.
At the conference, ELT colleagues shared their research and practice experiences and participated in various workshops and research paper presentations to widen their knowledge and gain new insights on the ELT and Research practices in various subfields such as: testing and assessment, curriculum and materials development, social perspectives of ELT.
These sessions helped the instructors foster their own understanding and find possible practical solutions for the problems they encounter in research.
