At the Foreign Languages Department, we care about your voice. If you experience a problem, academic or personal, you have the right to share it safely and respectfully. Our goal is to solve issues quickly, fairly, and with full confidentiality.
Step 1 – Talk to Us Informaly
Most problems can be resolved through open communication. Please speak first with your instructor, academic advisor, or a member of the administrative team. They will listen and try to help you immediately.
Step 2 – Submit a Formal Complaint
If your concern cannot be solved informaly or is too serious to discuss in person, you can make a formal complaint.
Submit the complaint within 15 working days of the issue. - İstanbul Nişantaşı University Help Form
Attach any documents that support your case.
Complaints submitted late without valid justification cannot be processed.
If the delay is due to a valid reason (with proof), the department will review it and inform you of the result.
Step 3 – Review and Initial Response
The Foreign Languages Department will confirm receipt of your complaint within 5 working days. The Administrative Coordinator reviews al complaints first. Valid complaints are then sent to the Student Grievance Committee, which includes:
Head of the Foreign Languages Department
Administrative Coordinator
Testing and Assessment Specialist
The committee discusses the issue, documents its decision, and communicates the outcome to you through the online petition system.
Step 4 – Further Review (If Needed)
If you are not satisfied with the committee’s decision, you may request a reevaluation. If the matter remains unresolved after reevaluation, you can contact the Dean of Students Office for a final review at ogrenci.dekanligi@nisantasi.edu.tr.
